Affectionately known as Grumps to all us grandchildren he was the ultimate role model & gentleman and we all aspire to continue his fine traits. He was a man of the soil and loved sharing his knowledge of farming and his delicious vegetables he grew in his garden. I have many fond memories like him teaching my brother & I to drive and taking us fishing at Gailian. His humour will not be forgotten and is often quoted by us all. He was a "great" man in every sense of the word.
