Uncle Hector's home and farm in the O.F.S. radiated the same peaceful atmosphere I mentioned on Granny's card. To me Hector was blessed with the best of the Fyvie traits: industriousness, good practical skills, excellence in farming AND a gentle, kindly spirit and calm temperament, and very unsassuming like Dormer and Hunt.
