If Mum hadn't done so, I would have chosen you as my godmother and favourite aunt. You sensed a loneliness in me as a child and you reached for me. I loved being in your home. You brought laughter to so many. Xmas Eve will always be definitive when celebrated in your home... those delicious mince pies!
