                   Hilda Millicent Hart (Fyvie) 1902 - 1988
                    as I recall
Hilda, as I remember her as I grew older, was a practical
person hard working and a good gardener. She was one of the
more outgoing members of the Fyvie family and enjoyed the
Howick community where she lived, and was an active member
of the W.I. (Woman's Institute) She was good at handwork
and played the piano. She taught piano lessons and was a
busy person. I am told that as a young girl, Granny Fyvie
used to call her from the beach when on holiday and she had
to come up early to iron all the starched dresses belonging
to her younger siblings! Everyone in the family was allocated
a job of work. Temple Fyvie allocated work to his sons on
the farm which had to be completed on Sundays, before any
                    parties or frivolity!
