Joan Fleetwood Pollard (Fyvie) 1914 - 1947

Sister Meyer, a German Nursing sister who lived in Harrismith was sent by Clive Fyvie to help Granny look after Nigel after his mother died in childbirth.

When Nigel was growing up and a very little boy, he came to Harrismith once to visit. He spoke about "KRAMPSY DOG". We later realised what he was talking about - "CLUMSY DOG" but with Sister Meyer's German accent!
