You are new to me in this portrait! I remember you as fuller of face and figure, and very upright! The teasing twinkle in your eyes is still the same. I always knew that I was welcome in your home, and enjoyed, especially, a visit to the funfair. You gave me some money to choose my rides - more than I had ever had! You headed the family with dignity, and died in the service of another.
