Mebel Lascelles Fyvie (1906 - 1984)
as I recall

Las, as we knew her was my godmother. I always thought her very beautiful and tranquil of nature.

She always sent me 10/- for my birthday and Christmas present which was a generous gift that I appreciated! I admired "her" garden at "Fyvie" which was off the side verandah on the side of the house where she lived. She created a haven which was so in her character.
